The Apalit Town Fiesta is annually celebrated from June 28 to 30 highlighted by a Fluvial Procession in honor of St. Peter "Apung Iru", the patron saint of Apalit. Apung Iru's Fluvial Procession is held annually and is the most widely recognized religious procession in the province of Pampanga. Here the venerated ivory image of St. Peter is paraded along the Pampanga River. The ivory image of St. Peter at the Brgy. Capalangan Shrine was acquired in 1844 from Spain by Don Pedro Armayan Espiritu. This year the Apalit Fiesta Committee are headed by our Mayor Oscar "Jun" D. Tetangco Jr., Mr. Jaime "Boy" Tetangco, Rev. Fr. Rolando Q. Lopez and the Apalitenos U.S.A.
